RUN LEADER SESSIONS  - What to expect from the session:

A friendly welcoming face to support you through the session. Our Run Leaders deliver the session set by the Head Coach to help give some structure so you get the most out of it. All of our Run Leaders carry a first aid kit and are there to deliver a safe session with an appropriate warm up and cool down. Sometimes they will stay with a newer runner to help support and other times they will run at their own pace. We will devise the route and make sure everyone understands the session and runners can then buddy up together. Our Run Leaders are volunteers and they too use the session to train. Our Run Leader sessions will change throughout the year depending on availability. If you are interested in becoming a Run Leader please let the club know, we can help support you through the training.

COACH LED SESSIONS - What to expect from the session:

These are the sessions to come to if you're looking for training advice and technical help. The Coach plans progressive sessions over mixed terrain with the aim of being fun, inclusive and structured. These sessions are normally based in one area, so the coach can see all runners and help provide any guidance to help with performance. Coached sessions are not included in the free trial.

WHAT OUR RUN LEADERS AND COACH EXPECT FROM YOU

To be polite and courteous to all other members.

To respect the decision of the leader and coach at the time, our main aim is safety!

To let the leader/coach know when you are injured or have been ill.

To advise the coach if you wish to leave the led session before it finishes, we want to make sure everyone goes home safe and happy!

To feedback to the club when you need to as our sessions aim to be fun and sociable.
